Fine Victorian Sterling Silver and Mother of Pearl Caddy Spoon by George Unite. This beautiful spoon has a gilt shell form bowl leading up to a ferrule leaf. The carved mother of pearl handle is absolutely lovely and sits well in the hand. The craftsmen of this fine work is George Unite, an incredibly skilled silversmith working in Birmingham during the 19th century. His work is exemplary and known throughout.
