Bespoke Porcelain Co. "Bridge over Great Falls Passaic River Paterson NJ" Dessert Plate
I designed this series of plates in the 1990s, and this year celebrates the 20th anniversary of the "Walker's Wood" pattern. The faux bois graining is of American woods - the red pine and the sugar maple, to be precise - this surrounds a finely-painted view of New Jersey's famous bridge brooking the Passaic River in Paterson. My atelier in the UK has since closed, making this a concept that I can redo, but the painters with whom I worked are retired (alas!).
The imagery covers the surface of a 9" bone china plate and the view is identified in red enamel to the reverse.
Handwash only, do not microwave.
