German Pair of Imperial glass master salts of urn-on-pillar form, circa 1920 of neo-classical style, the urn of simple bowl on foot shape, the pillar pressed with elaborate patterns to the sides, on a rounded-square base. 7" H., 2 1/2" W. x 2 1/2" Deep.

Very good condition.

 

Reference: A similar example, but of more elaborate urn form, is known to have been made at Brockwitz, circa 1920. Alan B. and Helen B. Smith 840 Individual Open Salts Illustrated The Seventh Book, illustrate a similar example.
