Description

SOLD Carter Gough, Newark New Jersey Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Purse Frame with Steel Mesh Purse body. The Rococo-style frame etched with delicate guilloche pattern overall, with scrolling folliage to corners and center, the front center panel with monogram "ARE." The handle made up of a chain of circle and oval silver links. The interior frame engraved with date "1910"and marked to the opposite handle sterling. 

The coin purse of identical design, scaled properly for the smaller size of the purse. 

The purse measures 7 1/4" W. x 6 1/4" D. The coin purse measures 2 3/4" W. x 3". 7.50 ozt weight for both. 

The perfect purse for wearing with black layered slip dress, or white blouse and jeans. Large enough to accommodate phone, wallet, lipstick, comb, brush and mirror. Small enough to look really sleek.
