Lucie Zete lives in Mata Ortiz, Oaxaca, Mexico. Her earthenware pots are produced using the traditional black clay with black glaze produced at Casas Grandes and Mata Ortiz for centuries. This olla or traditional form of vessel, is patterned with geometric designs alternately glazed and unglazed.
