18th Century Porcelain Black Printed Teapot.

The globular-shaped teapot with lightly-domed cover, the body transfer-printed in black enamel with Robert Hancock’s “The Minuet” and “L’Amour,” the latter print signed RH and anchor rebus for Robert Hancock. The cover with transfer prints of “Windmills” and “Classical Ruins.”

The finial on the cover an applied flower with stem.

4 3/4” High.

Unmarked.

Circa 1760.

Condition: Minute hairline crack to petal on finial.
