Daniel Reed swirled brown, red, yellow and black cylindrical vase or bowl, signed to base. Reed worked with Chihuly, and taught at Haystack, where my clients met him and bought this cylindrical bowl or vase form from him. Kept meticulously in the same collection since purchase, this is a great opportunity to buy a hand-made artwork by Reed. Reed moved out to Santa Fe, NM, where he has exhibited at Sculpture Ranch. His work connects earlier glass-blowers such as Labino, has a touch of the Southwest in his choice of colors, and uses techniques of legends such as Chihuly.
