English Pair of Cylindrical Vases, Possibly Experimental Examples for Wedgwood, circa 1880

the tops with matte-green enameled low-relief molded bands, over a band of impressionistically-painted berries on shrubs, with mottled blush orange and blue backgrounds, over a mottled blue glazed lower section, tapering to foot. Gold bands to rim, highlighting the relief molding, above and below the waists, and at foot. 

Both painted S 15 G.

Approximately 11" H. 4" Diameter 

Circa 1880-1885.
