English Wedgwood Ironstone Aesthetic Movement Pitcher, the hexagonal-molded pitcher transfer-printed in blue-green enamel in the "Marigold" pattern alternating with scenes of children at play.

Impressed WEDGWOOD and 12 to underside.

10 1/2" H.

Dated for 1912.

3" long haircrack from rim toward lower body. Sharply-angled 2" long crack from foot toward upper body. Scuffling and discoloration of one of the edges. Shallow chips to other edges. Despite these condition issues, this is an unusual form in the "Marigold" pattern, considered highly-collectible by Aesthetic Movement devotees.
