SOLD Japanese Vintage Apothecary Cabinet, the frame on carved base, the four over five drawers each with brass pull, with curved board to top. The top and sides with veneer, painted with scenes of deer, cranes, and figures. Each drawer front with carved character indicating its (original) contents.

The cabinet overal dimensions are 16, 3/4" H., 21 3/4" W., 11" D.  The rectangular frame that encloses all the drawers is 17 3/8" H., 13 3/8" W., 11" Deep.

There are some losses to veneer, top, and less evident losses to sides. 

Tansu are perfect for storage of many small articles, the multiple drawers are great for keeping things organized.
