Michael Corney "EAT"  Cube Form Architectural Porcelain Teapot, painted with cartoon-like figures, one of whose raised arms creates the branches of a slender tree issuing leaves. The teapot made of three stacks of cubes, with a slender yellow handle.

Marked CORNEY in a vertical line to the underside.

10 1/2" H., 7 1/4" W. x 2 1/4" D.

Dated 2001. 

Excellent, undamaged condition. 

Provenance: From an important New York City collection. Comey went to  Cal State Fullerton and Cranbrook. He has taught at UNM, Santa Fe, Grossmont College in El Cajon, Mira Costa College.
