Description

Wedgwood Basalt Pottery Engine-Turned Cream Jug with Applied Sprigs Circa 1860, the straight-sided body with applied ear-shaped handle, lip to top and bottom and applied Classical Sprigs to center body. 

Impressed WEDGWOOD with small capital letters, and with letter S for 1864. 

2 3/4" H. x 2 5/8 " Diameter (not including spout and handle).

The handle with an inventive repair, with two screws and straps attached the handle to body. The repair appears to have been done by a professional.
