Wedgwood Bone China Set of 18 Powder-Blue Ground Chinoiserie Dinner Plates, circa 1900, each plate front with two bands of cell-and-diaper and bracket-shaped foliate borders, framing lambrequin-shaped motifs filled with flowerheads, and a medallion of similar style to the plate centers. Marked with green-printed Portland Vase and Wedgwood marks. Pattern #8950.

Such plates make a very good dining table setting look that much prettier, the powder-blue color is easy and elegant at the same time, and the Chinoiserie gilding adds a sense of richness and sophistication.
