SOLD 18th Century Worcester Porcelain Bowl Transfer-Printed in Red. 

The tapering cylindrical bowl on foot, with lightly-everted rim. Transfer-printed in deep, brown-red with Robert Hancock's "The Piper," "La Cascade,"  and a third print, of a fashionable couple walking beside a mandolin player and two lovers. The three vignettes at 120 degrees, the rim painted with a scroll and feather band. "La Cascade" derives from an engraving by G. Scotin after a painting by Watteau in the Wallace Collection, See, Cyril Cook, The Life and Work of Robert Hancock, 1955, no. 19.

Condition: Chip to rim, roughly 1/8".
