SOLD 18th Century Worcester Porcelain Coffee Cup and Saucer Milkmaids Print. 

Delicate gilt band to rim, enclosing the black-transfer printed scene of a farmyard centering two Milkmaids, with a man loading up the bucket atop one maid's head. The scene set in a farmyard with two cows feeding, among hay and shrubbery, with a hayrick and two ladders, one under a tree, with broad foliage. The engraved scene by Robert Sayer. 

Signed, in the print Hancock ft., lower right, at 5 o'clock. 

Unmarked. 

Circa 1766-1770. 

7/8" H., 4 3/4" Diameter. 

Condition: Wear to gilding at rim edge. 

Two 1/4" shallow chips at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock.
