SOLD French Creil Creamware Plate, Transfer-Printed with a Scene of Turks Freeing Greek Women and Children in black, the scene in French reading "Les Turc Envenant Les Femmes et Les Enfans Grecs" within a laurel leaf and scrolling foliate border on the shoulder. 

Impressed marks to underside. 

8 1/2" D. x 1" H.

Circa 1830.

The plate is in very good condition, with crisp molding and printing to the face. The underside has some wear and scratching.
