Description

Chinese Late Q'ing Dynasty or Republic Period Pair of speckled Robin's Egg-blue Porcelain Vases with Dragon Handles, the bodies of onion-bulb form, with elongated necks, with two applied dragon-form handles to either side. The upper rim and feet, and dragon's feet painted in turquoise or aqua blue, the dragons with applied eyes and wings, under-foot rims and tails dotted in purple- black. Unmarked.

The attractive use of the speckled-blue ground makes this pair a perfect choice for decorating using blue with subtlety.

 7 1/4" H.

The vases are in excellent condition, with one slight flaw to the upper rim on one vase mouth, as manufactured.
