Description

Three Dutch Delft Pancake Dish painted in blue on white, modeled as shallow bowls, painted with stylized tulips and four dots in clusters to rims, over quatrefoil foliate, floral and heart designs, forming a compass. Not marked. Circa 1810. Approximate dimensions: 2 1/4” H. X 9 1/4” Diameter. Condition: Flaking of glaze off the rim, typical of this ware. Minor crazing to enamels. There are three plates available: one of the three has a 2” cracker issuing a longer, crawling T shaped crack. Each with some surface wear and scratches.
